About Us

About Kemble Mountain Maple Products

We are a small, family run business that has been making maple syrup on our farm since 1985. Everyone that makes maple syrup will tell you that their syrup is the best. But you should have a taste of our syrup at the farm so that you can decide for yourself.

What makes our syrup different from others?

There are a few factors at work.

The sap is collected from trees growing on the shallow, dolostone-rich soils

of the Niagara Escarpment during March and April.

A natural vacuum system is created using gravity on a steep, south-facing slope of the escarpment.

Each day the sap is collected and boiled quickly on a wood-fired, forced-air,
4x12' evaporator with a steam pre-heater.

Our goal is to process the sap collected daily into delicious maple syrup,

and then hot-pack into retail containers the very same day to ensure the flavour stays as fresh as possible.

We purposely make our syrup thicker than required, usually at 67° Brix, for great flavour and mouth feel.
